2 Weeks Old

Our little Pressly is 2 weeks old! I can not beleive how fast it seems my days go.. but can I just say how much I LOVE being home all day with her!! She is so amazing... my favorite thing about her is she smiles A LOT! You can say its gas or whatever, but she will look around and then smile at a certain spot, then look around and smile again at the same spot... I think she is seeing her uncle or grandma! I love thinking how she already knows Nate, and Nate sure sent us a beautiful little girl!
Anyways as of last Monday we are done with the lights! (Hopefully) She just had her two week check up and our pediatrician is saying that her billirubin is not really going down. So she has to go get poked again next week. Also she has only gained an ounce in a week. Our doctor is a little worried about that two, she is still 5 oz away from her birth weight. So next week hopefully all goes well. Her poor little heels have about 5 scabs on each from all the pokes she has been getting.
Sleeping has been a challenge some nights, but that is what having a new born is all about right!? Some nights are great, others she has a hard time. Jordan and I are doing really good though and hanging in there! Jordan is such a great help, even though he has to work in the mornings he still wakes up and helps me with her all the time.
How is house hunting?? Horrible. We have been looking forever it feels like. We decided to stay clear of short sales and foreclosures right?? Well we made an offer on a cute little house in Layton... all excited b/c we had a great feeling about it and it just seemed right. We made an offer for about 4000 less then asking price... they countered this:
-they wanted 3000 more (so only 1000 off of asking price)
-also they wanted us to wait until at least April 1st or UNTIL they were closed on another house they have an offer pending, but if their offer was not accepted on the house they wanted their current house (the one we made an offer on) was no longer for sale
-ALSO within April 1st OR WHENEVER they eventually found another house and someone makes a higher offer, they have the right to accept the better offer... even though we would be considered under contract
Anyways how STUPID do they think we ARE? Who in their right mind would make a counter offer like that!? We countered back saying we would offer them the 1000 off the asking price, but we would want the offer accepted and move in asap not sit around and wait and get screwed again! Yeah they denied our counter offer.... so we are moving on AGAIN!
We are putting our 9th offer on a town home this week... so we will see what happens. I mean seriously, I do not understand why we are having such a hard time, but we are and it is SO frustrating.
